It can be used in various internal structure display products such as architecture, process decoration, hand board, education, automobile lamps, aerospace and so on. It can also be used to print products with transparency requirements.
Many people will encounter this problem when printing models with photosensitive resin. The printing model is easy to crack. Do this step to greatly improve the quality of the model.
As we all know, after the photosensitive resin model is printed, there will be a post-curing process, this process seems simple, but if not done well, the quality of the model will be greatly damaged.
What we're going to share with you today is, why is my model so fragile when it's printed? A big reason is that the printed model was not properly cured.
So how should post curing be done?
The model was first placed in cold water and then placed under high power UV lamp for secondary curing.
attention:
1. The higher the power of the post-curing equipment used, the shorter the time required. In general, the 600W full-band UV lamp,
it is recommended that the post-curing time of each surface be 10s to 30s.
2. During the post-curing operation, it is necessary to ensure that every surface can be uniformly exposed to ULTRAVIOLET radiation, otherwise the model is prone to stress concentration and cracking.
Here is a little trick, why in the secondary curing time, need to put in cold water?
Benefits of post curing in cold water:
1. Solve the sticky hand problem of some models.
Water can reduce the contact between the model and air, so as to avoid the occurrence of oxygen resistance polymerization, so that the cured model will not stick to the hand, and some materials printed model surface is better scratch resistance.
2. Solve the deformation problem of some models after curing.
After curing resin material will occur further chemical reaction, at this time will release heat, and high power UV lamp will also release heat, 600W UV lamp for short time temperature up to 60℃~70℃, and most OF the LCD materials a printing thermal deformation temperature of 50℃~60℃, so the material is easy to deformation. When the model is placed in cold water, the influence of temperature on the model can be greatly reduced, and the dimensional stability of the model can be improved.
