More than 30 years ago, the day 3D printing was launched, it began with the light curing technology SLA (laser scanning) stereo lithography technology. So UV curing is the leader of 3D printing technology. Later, we all know that repap's open source technology makes FDM's melt extrusion technology popular, and SLS's sintering technology, especially as metal sintering, makes 3D printing high-end applications. The development of UV curing itself is also emerging one after another.
The first generation SLA, the mainstream technology of light curing, uses ultraviolet laser (355nm or 405nm) as the light source, and uses galvanometer system to control the scanning of laser spot, so that the liquid resin at the scanned place can be selectively cured. The second generation DLP UV digital projection technology uses 405nm light source and Texas Instruments digital micro mirror technology to selectively project the area light source onto the liquid resin to cure it. Among them, DLP technology includes the famous clip continuous printing technology with 100 times faster speed. The z-axis direction of all light curing technologies is divided into two schemes: the desktop type is the light source under, which is formed and pulled up through the window and release film; Large industrial light sources are on the, forming and sinking below the liquid level, and the liquid level does not need release film.
